Muslim daily life in Malaysia

Islamic Tourism Centre: Muslim-Friendly Tourism describes prayer facilities in shopping centres, airports, hotels and public facilities.

Malaysian government portal: Muslim-Friendly Tourism and Hospitality describes halal services, prayer rooms and family-friendly infrastructure.

Residency and tax questions

MDEC: Digital Nomad Pass / DE Rantau is an official source for one possible residency route. Other residency programmes are available; current requirements must be checked for each individual case.

HASiL: Residence Status explains that tax residency is assessed under applicable Malaysian tax law. This website does not promise a particular tax treatment or savings.
