When your faith
is part of daily life.

A mosque nearby. Halal food. Ramadan shared with a community. Malaysia can offer an environment where Muslim daily life feels more natural.

A different place.
More possibilities
for your daily life.

Prayer has its place.

Mosques and prayer rooms are part of the infrastructure in many places, including shopping centres, airports and motorway rest stops.

Halal becomes easier.

A wide choice of halal-certified food makes choosing easier. You have more options for eating out together.

Community feels closer.

Ramadan, Friday prayers and Islamic holidays are part of public life. Children can experience Muslim practice beyond their own home.

Daily life that suits you.

City living, leafy neighbourhoods or a quieter setting: what matters is finding the right fit for your family, budget and residency route.

For Muslim-friendly infrastructure, see Islamic Tourism Centre . The services available depend on the location and provider.

What will your
life in Malaysia cost?

A couple needs a different budget from a family with schoolchildren. Estimate your daily costs, including location, education and room for the unexpected.

Who is coming with you?

Count each child in one group only.

Local planning estimate: RM600–1,200 per child per month. Check foreign-child admission, opening hours and fees with the provider.

International school examples from KL. Enter your own fees below to calculate local or Islamic private schools. Year groups differ by curriculum. After-school care is separate.

Adjust your quotes & assumptions

Known monthly amounts replace the relevant range. Divide annual fees by 12 first. Add together all children in the same group.

Flights, relocation, a rental deposit, visas, school admission fees, school deposits and our €3,900 support package are additional one-off costs. School fees are spread over twelve months here but may be payable in advance or by term. Toddlers are calculated without external childcare.

A guide to your daily costs.

The range is a planning guide, not a quote. Location, age, insurance cover and school choices affect costs. Visits home, long-term savings and obligations in your country of departure are not included. The calculator does not check visa eligibility.

Where do these figures come from?

Research date: 11 October 2026. Rent, food, transport, leisure, and healthcare and insurance reserves are our deliberately broad planning estimates, rather than official expat averages. The local Belanjawanku reference uses different housing and education assumptions.

The education budget uses published international school fees. The lower and middle ranges cover different year groups. Premium examples include SST according to the published fee schedule. The preschool range includes Pre-K and Kindergarten, which have different fees. The local nursery estimate of RM600–1,200 is our planning assumption, not confirmed admission or a guarantee of current fees. Ongoing school extras and materials have a separate budget line. School buses and additional childcare may cost more. Enter known total costs above.

“Simple & mindful” assumes a basic rental home and a mix of public transport and Grab. More comfort increases rent, everyday spending and transport costs. A car needs a separate assessment of financing or purchase, insurance and running costs for your situation.

All individual costs are added together, then the selected buffer is applied. The ringgit budget is divided by the chosen exchange rate; euro amounts are rounded up to the next €25. To work out the gross income you need, your actual taxes, social contributions and business expenses must be calculated separately.

A hopeful start needs a realistic plan.

Moving to Malaysia comes with requirements. Residency, work options, health insurance, schools and tax obligations need to fit your circumstances. Heat, humidity and distance from family are part of the decision too. We discuss these topics openly.

Discuss my circumstances

A new path.
Plenty of good questions.

Here are some initial answers.
We will work through yours together.

Who is this service for?

For English-speaking Muslims seriously considering a move to Malaysia, whether alone, as a couple or with a family. Whether Malaysia is right for you depends on your residency route, income, budget and family needs. That is where our introductory call starts.

What do I receive for €3,900?

You receive a personalised Hijra plan, a detailed Malaysia Starterkit brochure in English and personal support. Your plan brings together location choices, visa preparation, tax and finance questions, documents, budget and next steps. The Starterkit covers daily life, your first days, living costs, business and exploring Malaysia. We agree the scope, appointments and support period in writing before starting.

What is in the Starterkit brochure?

Eight areas: life and expectations, location and housing, residency and documents, your first days, living costs and budget, tax and finances, business essentials, and travel and exploring. You get practical checklists, decision guides and indicative prices with research dates. The brochure complements your personal plan and does not replace professional advice.

When are the two payments due?

The first €1,950 is due when your agreed support begins. The second €1,950 is payable after you arrive in Malaysia. The introductory call carries no obligation; submitting this form does not book or purchase a support package.

Are visas, flights, rent and professional advice included?

The €3,900 covers the support we agree with you. Government and visa fees, flights, rent and deposits, insurance, schools, and services from external tax advisers, lawyers or other specialists are paid separately. We factor those costs into your plan.

Can I come with my family?

Some residency routes offer options for dependants. Who can be included and the requirements that apply depend on the programme and your circumstances. Schools, health insurance and your neighbourhood should be considered early.

Do you guarantee a visa or tax savings?

Visa and residency decisions are made by the relevant authorities. Tax outcomes depend on your personal circumstances and applicable law. Our support provides guidance and preparation; individual legal and tax advice comes from appropriately qualified professionals. We do not guarantee visas or tax savings.

How early should I start?

When the idea becomes something you seriously want to pursue. Allowing enough time helps you plan residency options, documents, income, housing and, where relevant, schools together. We cannot promise a fixed processing or relocation time.
